    Tomorrows Talent - LINA COOPER

Bio: Lina Cooper is a young songwriter, artist and producer based in Los Angeles, CA, a recent graduate of Berklee college of music and a self-proclaimed "Yellow Manic Pixie Dream Girl". If you could combine the hopeless romanticism, descriptive lyricism and the powerful pop sound of Taylor Swift and the raspy alto vocals and edginess of Amy Winehouse, it would be her. Lina was born in a small industrial town in the Eastern part of Ukraine called Donetsk. She has fallen in love with music ever since she was a kid, and according to her, "she always knew it was meant to be music". Lina is now taking over Spotify and TikTok, playing all over the US and about to become your new favorite pop-rock singer-songwriter.

  • Gina Gardiner Tomorrows Talent with Jacob Haywood
    Jun 28 2024

    Bio

Jacob Haywood is a singer-songwriter, born in Essex but now lives in North West London. His sound mixes elements of alternative rock acts like Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys, combined with the stripped-back and personal songwriting style of Leonard Cohen. Jacob denies the need to be defined by a genre, his versatility stemming from pulling inspiration across musical greats like, David Bowie and The Beatles.

His lyrics, often introspective and nostalgic, connect with the listener on an intimate level. Drawing from the highs and lows of everyday life, he exposes a vulnerability that draws his audience in.

Singing and songwriting from the age of 14 to now, most of his experience comes from performing in small, intimate venues building his audience relationship. Now at 21, he aims to develop his musical style and is ready to take his performing to the next level. He currently studies music performance at ICMP, and is now in his second year, having achieved a distinction in his first.

  • Gina Gardiner Tomorrows Talent with Daniel Lerner
    Jun 14 2024

    Daniel Lerner Bio:

Unbound by genre labels, Daniel Lerner treats every show, every song, every full-length project as an opportunity to experiment with songwriting, sound, and style. Throughout Daniel’s songwriting career, you’ll find pieces of him searching for something. On his debut album There’s Something I Wanted to Say – a collection of songs about heartache, loss, missed connections, and growth – he established that style. It’s the album that kickstarted an exciting 2022, complete with a newly formed lineup of Robert Harary, Alex Scheitinger, and Jason Ross; joining Moon Sand Land and Sophie Said on guitar; and a writeup in NPR Music.

On new EP good game! Daniel Lerner asks, “Can emotional heartbreak feel physical?” Headaches, fatigue, heaviness in the chest – all physically painful sensations that are often borne out of emotionally painful experiences. These feelings come into focus on the song titles - each song is named after a fight move or sensation of physical harm. good game! allows each song to explore new sonic territory – from the abrasive breakneck speed of indie rock banger “Haymaker,” to the soft and earnest folk songwriting on “Gut Punch” and “Punch Drunk Love.”

With the band's first international tour in the works, 2023 is setting up to be a break-out year.

I look forward to sharing some of the experiences I've had over the last 6 years as a freelance music producer and performer with you! I'm finishing off an EP at the moment, with my most recent release 'Sad Song' being its opening single. I hope you like it. I've included links to a few songs of mine below. If you want to hear a little more, it's under Dunluvly on all major streaming services.
