  • In this candid conversation, held mostly in Spanglish, interdisciplinary artist, educator and activist Gina Goico explains how she uses art to explore and heal family dynamics, love and self-love. She discusses with hosts Karla and Susana the importance of ‘Touch in the age of physical distances’ and how everyone can incorporate connection into their daily lives, given restrictions.

    Gina also shares in a beautifully vulnerable way her own mental health and how we need to demystify depression. You’ll also learn about how she incorporates her afro-latin roots into her ritualistic and performance art, focusing on identity and womanhood in the Dominican Republic and its diasporas.
