    Girl Be Heard Company Member and the 2019 NYC Youth Poet Laureate Camryn Bruno reads from her new book of poetry, “Queen Bee Cavity.” Published in collaboration with Urban Word. Camryn’s book of poetry is a love letter to social justice, feminism and as the poet Shivanee Ramiochan says, “she is a young poet who measures the worth, the weight, of every word before using it to set the system on fire.” Camryn starred in GBH’s 2019 main stage show, 2030: The Future Is Ours, a collection of devised works around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, performed at TADA Youth Theater in Manhattan.
