A car owner only needs one, and they'll drive it until the wheels fall off, but a car collector collects car out of a passion and a love for them, handling them with care cand tenderness. A driver’s license is more than just a photo ID, but a confirmation that you can legally operate a vehicle. Just because a teenager has their license though, it doesn’t mean they have the developed skills to drive a car safely, it’s a skill developed over time. Our cellphones have become so advanced that most people probably don’t know how to use all of the features that it comes with. Even still, if you saw someone who only ever used their phone to calculate the tip on a bill, you’d know for certain that phone was made for more. When teaching a child to catch a ball, they need to learn to not be afraid of the ball. It’s not that they can’t catch the ball, but their likelihood of catching it is far less. The same can be said for most areas in our life, as soon as fear comes into the equation, our success will be limited. Are our lives governed by fear, or by faith? Today is Good Friday, a time when we reflect on the price of our freedom. Although it was a hard day, we call it a good day as it promised new life. Let’s reflect together.
