To agree with the rules of the road when you’re driving is wise, but then not to follow those same rules is foolish. We can agree that the Bible is right, and has everything we need to live out our callings in Christ, but then not to be aligned with the word in our actions won’t get us any further down the road. When a country is at war, the priorities of that country need to shift in order to protect the people. When the war is over though, the priorities need to be shifted back to a mindset of peace and of building. With all of that God wants to do in our lives, are we too focused on surviving when we could be focused on building?
