  • 101. You’re One Decision Away from a Totally Different Life—Here’s Mine
    Jun 24 2025

Have you ever stoped to think that you're were just one decision away from completely different life or business?

Inspired by the powerful read One Decision Away by Amanda Wilson-Ciocci and serveral other Candian, female entreprenurs and co-authors, I’m sharing my 'one decision' moments.

We’re talking about the big moments—the ones that feel risky, get questioned by others (hi, parents 👋), but deep downfeel right. From launching my first blog to quitting my 9–5 and growing Brittany Miller Socials, every pivotal move started with trusting one decision. And now? We’ve made another one. I explain why we’re choosing a slower lifestyle, the financial strategy behind it, and what it means for our family and business dreams.

Plus, I share my current must-reads when it comes to entrepreneurship books and personal development reads that have played a massive role in shaping my life, motherhood, and business journey. In this episode I'm mentioniong some of my favourite reads in 2025 including One Decision Away, and The Let Them Theory by Mel Robins. These aren’t just good reads—they’re fuel for transformation.

Ready to get inspired by one decision that changed everything?

  • 97. The Real Story Behind Selling Our House
    May 27 2025

    This one’s personal.

In this week’s episode of Go Get Great, I’m opening up about something we’ve been navigating behind the scenes—something I haven’t shared publicly until now.

    We sold our house.
Not because we were upgrading. Not because we were relocating for a dream job or planning a big life change.
We sold our home because we owed money—a lot more than we expected—and had to make a tough call.

In this episode, I’m walking you through the full story:
✨ What led us to this point
✨ How a surprise government categorization left us with a hefty debt
✨ The decision to list our home (and how long it actually took to sell)
✨ The pressure of house hunting with four kids and nowhere to go
✨ Why we moved in with my mom (temporarily)
✨ And the crazy story of how we finally purchased in our new home

It’s been messy, emotional, and honestly really humbling. But I wanted to share this because I know so many of us—especially as business owners and parents—feel like we have to keep everything together all the time. That we have to look like we’re always growing, always thriving. But that’s just not real life.

This episode is about hard choices, trusting yourself even when things feel uncertain, and being brave enough to pivot when life throws you a curveball.

If you’ve ever felt like you were doing your best and still falling behind—you are not alone.

💬 Send me a DM after you listen and let me know what part hit home for you.
