  • Dr. Jeremy Grinnell joins us to answer your Bible questions. Here are the questions he takes on in this episode.

If all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, how is it that the OT kings were divided into two groups...the ones that pleased God and those that didn’t. Does this mean the good ones weren’t sinners? But then, all have sinned, right?

Perry and Shawna listener Stephanie is doing a word study on "remnant." In some passages God says he’ll never forsake his remnant, in others he says he’ll forsake them and in others he says God will protect and save the remnant. Can you explain??

1 Corinthians 11 talks about instructions for public worship, head coverings for women, no head coverings for men. Was this just for that time and culture or is it for today as well?

In Exodus 3:18, God directs Moses & Aaron to lie to Pharaoh about why they want to leave Egypt. And in 1 Samuel 16:2 the Lord directs Samuel to lie to David’s father Jesse about coming to anoint David as King. Is God telling them to lie?

Rev. 20 talks about those who are raised from death to reign during the Millennial reign of Jesus. And then it says that at the end of that reign the rest of the dead are raised? Who are the ones reigning in the Millennium and who are the rest of the dead?

Last, Shawna had some anxiety when she thought about traveling alone to Australia for the birth of her grandbaby. She joins us from Australia to share how God met her in incredible ways emotionally and relationally!
