    Alejandro Riera is the self-professed "Last Latino Film Critic" left in Chicago. He is a walking encyclopedia of Latino Film as well as the Press Officer for the Chicago Latino Film Festival and the International Latino Cultural Center (ILCC).

    In this episode we will be talking about The Reel Film Club, a truly unique Latino film experience in Chicago that screens a Latino Film once a month accompanied by a reception with food and drink. We will also talk about the Chicago Latino Film Festival and some important dates for the Poster Contest and the Film Submissions for the upcoming 41st Edition of the longest running Latino Film Festival in the United States.

  • HablArte! Podcast Epidose 10 • Levitt Foundation and the VIBE series in Chicago

    On this episode of HablArte! we will be talking to Victoria Bridensteine from the Levitt Foundation and Mateo Mulcahy, our very own deputy executive director at the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago. (ILCC)

    Both have come together to produce a new concert series called the Levitt VIBE Belmont Cragin Music Series, currently in it's mid mark at Riis Park, every saturday from 2-4pm. The series offers a variety of Latino musical options throughout a 10 week span in summer and is a first for the Belmont Cragin neighborhood.
