During the mid-70's, John started his career as the Director of Marketing for the NY Cosmos Soccer Team in the old NASL Soccer League. At this time the Cosmos were a struggling team as was the league struggling as a whole. It was during this time that the Cosmos acquired a player some consider to be the greatest soccer player to have ever played the game, Pele. This greatly impacted the team, the entire league, and created a profound interest in soccer in our country. John talks about the business of marketing the Cosmos and his business and personal relationship with Pele. Whether you are a soccer fan or not, you don't want to miss this one.
