    Human beings have the capacity to do many incredible things, but physically are not well built. We fall apart with age, can’t reproduce the broken parts, and are highly susceptible to disease. Even tortoises and parrots live longer than us. However, that hasn’t stopped scientists from trying to find ways to fix those problems. Unfortunately, as in our story, “Heading Home,” by Ramsey Campbell, these new discoveries can lead to disastrous results. What have today's scientists discovered about repairing the human body?
