The Power of Saying No. This discussion focused on the power of saying 'no' and why people often hesitate to use this word. Quadetra, Shelley L. James, and Yakea explored the negative connotations often associated with 'no', but also argued that it could have a positive function when used effectively. They emphasized the importance of setting boundaries and making decisions in one's best interest, even if it might initially cause tension. The meeting ended with Yakea leading a prayer for guidance and understanding.
