Dr. Wright recently published a new book titled “Heirs of The Great Migration: How the Past Became the Future,” a narrative biography based on his family’s migration from Jim Crow-era sharecropping in North Carolina to manufacturing jobs in the industrial Northeast and his personal journey of overcoming many obstacles to succeed.
