  • Eight years ago, Irina was an American homemaker, born in Ukraine, raising her family and living her life. When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 she saw a need and took action. She formed a nonprofit called Revived Soldiers Ukraine to help Ukrainian veterans and their families deal with injuries and loss. Since then she has raised a lot of money, organized volunteers from all walks of life, and helped a great deal of wounded heroes in their recovery from finding doctors to do complicated operations to getting soldiers fitted with prosthetic limbs. There is still a lot of work to do and she is looking for volunteers to help raise money as well as people with language skills to help as translators.
