Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in 1 Peter 3 today. What does baptism have to do with men and women's roles? Well, a lot actually. Our roles as men and women allow us to live in harmony with one another, and baptism by the holy Spirit cleanses us so that we may live a godly life. Baptism is an outward act of faith, demonstrating what Jesus did for us, and therefore, the way we act towards one another should be a reflection of this. When we come to Christ, and step forward in believer's baptism, there should be a transformation in our lives.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20

We live in a world where stories and claims can be shared all over the world in seconds. You can find “trends”, “ways of life”, and “new truths” all over social media. But without understanding the scripture, and the context of the scriptures, this is dangerous. If anyone is claiming that there is another way to Heaven other than Jesus, they are lying. The enemy will do whatever he can to distort the Gospel message, and as believers, we must defend the truth from false prophets, and that starts by first knowing the truth.

If you've listened to the very end of the podcast, I quote this verse at the end of each episode. This is the great commission, the most important thing that Jesus commanded us to do, yet we've lost sight of it. If you're a believer in Jesus, your life interactions should reflect this, and more people should be impacted. But today's society suggests the opposite. This message is an encouragement to listen to the calling of the great commission, and start living like Jesus called us to.
