  • Satanic Panic and Small Town Secrets: Baby X
    Dec 3 2023

In this episode, I delve into the 33-year-old unsolved case that haunts Rupert, Idaho. November 17, 1989, marked the discovery of the dismembered body of a three-week-old infant, known as Baby X, near the Minidoka County Landfill. Join me as I unravel the disturbing details surrounding this unsolved mystery, exploring the initial investigation, the disturbing rumors of Satanic rituals, and the subsequent panic that gripped the town.

Myrtle's Mania

Great podcast. Just enough balance between history and supernatural. I especially like the mention of the "ghost children" playing with modern toys at the plantation. My sister spent the night there and felt multiple tugs on her feet and legs while she was trying to sleep in the bed. My sister also had an extremely lifelike dream in which children dressed in old fashioned clothing begged her to bring a Cabbage Patch doll. This was during the height of "Cabbage Patch" mania. Weeks after her visit to Myrtles, she was still plagued with thoughts of this Cabbage Patch doll, so she purchased a Cabbage Patch doll and brought it to the very room she stayed in at the Myrtles To my knowledge, the doll is still sitting on the mantle in that very room my sister spent the night. She hasn't had anymore dreams of Cabbage Patch dolls, so I guess the children ghost s are happy.

Presenter’s voice is difficult to listen too

When a presenter mispronounces or misuses a word and omits a fact because she didn’t know about it I have no sympathy or patience because we have Google and other easily obtained reference sources. To not use them is lazy.

Ugh!

The first episode was good. The host comes off as relatable and she is definitely someone you can listen too. The problem Is the lack of empathy for the deceased. She loses her thought process and jumps from story to story which causes her to ramble about things that have absolutely nothing to do with the podcast. I gave up on episode 3. I just couldn’t listen to her endlessly ramble anymore.
