BURT WARD Growing up, Ward had all the makings of a true boy wonder: At the age of two, he was the youngest professional ice skater in the world” With the help of his father, a prominent real estate broker in Beverly Hills, CA, Burt became one of the youngest real estate agents in California, and met producer, Saul David, who arranged for him to sign with an agent. His first interview was set up at 20th Century Fox Studios, and a few weeks later, Burt was called back for a screen test with Adam West. It wasn’t until six weeks after the screen test that Burt learned that he had won the coveted role of Robin, the Boy Wonder in the new “Batman” TV series for ABC-TV. Batman Was an Overnight Sensation! The Ratings soared and audiences fell in love the dynamic duo of West & Ward. West and Ward also played Batman and Robin in the 20th Century Fox film “Batman: The Movie” released on July 30, 1966. In fact, Burt Ward and Adam West continued to do movies, TV shows and appearances, individually and together, until Adam’s death, and had a lifetime of more than 50 years of friendship working together and have even been submitted to the Guinness Book of World records in 2017 as the only two actors who have worked together for more than 50 years. Outside of his time as a “Caped Crusader”, Burt and his wife Tracy have made names for themselves as “Canine Crusaders” in founding Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions. Located 50 miles east of Los Angeles in Norco, CA, Gentle Giants is a non-profit charity created by Burt and Tracy. The charity has rescued & adopted more than 15,500 giant breed, medium breed, & small breed dogs, along with unique combinations, during their 23 years of operation. DEAN BUTLER Dean Butler is an actor, producer, and director best known for his portrayal of Almanzo Wilder on the NBC family drama Little House on the Prairie, which was based on the classic Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. He appeared in the final four seasons of the show, the spin-off show Little House: A New Beginning, and the three post-series TV movies. After Little House ended, he played Jeff "Moondoggie" Griffin in the TV series The New Gidget and Buffy’s dad, Hank Summers, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. During the 1980s and 1990s, Butler was a guest star on various television series, including Murder, She Wrote; Who's the Boss?; The Love Boat; and JAG.He co-starred with the late Gary Coleman in The Kid with the 200 I.Q.. He appeared in the movies Desert Hearts and The Final Goal. He was a producer for NBC Golf’s Emmy-nominated series Feherty for over ten seasons. He has directed, produced, written, and narrated bonus features for Little House on the Prairie DVD collections. He narrated a six-part documentary, The Little House Phenomenon. And he produced two documentaries, Little House on the Prairie: The Legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Almanzo Wilder: Life Before Laura, which drew their inspiration from the Little House books of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Additionally, in 2012, Butler co-executive produced Pa's Fiddle: The Music of America for PBS. Dean lives in California with his family.
