A few years ago we had a festival in beautiful Myrtle Beach.

I remember it as if it was yesterday... the boardwalk and the sand, the smell of the ocean... And, I remember the people.

One woman, in particular, stands out in my memory. She’d resisted the Good News message but had lingered to talk. She became frustrated trying to describe her desperation. And at one point I said, “You feel unworthy?” And at that she exclaimed “Yes! That’s the word! I’m unworthy!”

And that is exactly it. We are all unworthy. That’s the beauty of God’s grace. It’s for unworthy people.

Hebrews 9:14 describes the work of that grace when it says that by the blood of Jesus, God will “cleanse your conscience from evil works, so that you may serve the living and true God.”

If you know someone who feels unworthy, share this verse with them. It’s life itself!

    This is Andrew Palau.

  • Your Healer

    Do you need healing?

Jehovah Rapha is the Hebrew name for God our healer.

Sometimes we're afraid to ask for healing. We're free to believe. But it's impossible to read about the life of Jesus and not clearly see that He healed over and over again. He is the one able to heal.

We ask with faith, but we ask with submission- God will do what He is going to do. We don't get to dictate what and how God heals.

For some of us, our healing will come one day when we see Him face to face. And for some of us, He will choose to heal us right now, today.

Whatever God is doing in your life, it doesn't change the fact that He is Jehovah Rapha, your healer.

  • God Promises Peace

When we receive Jesus into our life, we can walk peacefully, even through difficult seasons.

John 14:27 in the Bible says, “I am leaving you a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So do not be troubled or afraid.”

As you think about your life right now, ask yourself: Are you really surrendering to Jesus and experiencing His peace? Have you received Him into your heart?

When I received the Lord at age 27, I experienced God’s peace in a very real and profound way. All of the things that I had been stressed about – and rightfully so – were now covered and dealt with properly once and for all by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

I had surrendered to God, and in doing so a peace that passes understanding entered into my life.

Who do you know who needs to hear this message of peace today?

    This is Andrew Palau.
