A two-time Freeskiing World Tour Champion (2009, 2012), Crystal’s journey began on the slopes of Jackson Hole, where she was skiing before she could walk. She skyrocketed through the ski racing world, even forerunning the Women’s Olympic downhill in 2002, before turning her passion to freeskiing, where she claimed 22 podium finishes. Beyond the slopes, she owns Wright Training, helping others bounce back stronger from injury, and co-founded the Jackson Hole Babe Force to empower women to push their limits in the mountains. There is no gold medal for being a mom - no competition. Each of us gets to collaborate with the gifts we have been given, forgive those that hurt us, and make the most out of the opportunity we have to pass the best we can on to the next generation and do our own healing work. In the end, we are competing with our own ideals of perfectionism around mommyhood.

In this episode (which my children make a surprise appearance on) we talk about witnessing the birth of puppies and what it means to be a good dog mom.
