  • Most people, including Christians, think that they can do whatever they want to do if they maintain control of their lives. They fear that they will not be able to do what they want if they hand the control over to the Holy Spirit. Nothing can be further from the truth. Unfulfilled desires, need for approval, fear of rejection, envy, jealousy, and anxiety vie for the control of your life so that you lost control of your life. Such people are powerless over their lives. That is why Apostle Paul said that you cannot do what you want to do in Galatians 5:17. It is when you give the control over to the Holy Spirit that you can truly do what you want to do.
