    I’m your host Elise and today I’ll be talking with Sierra, a journalist from Illinois, about Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors. These behaviors can express themselves in a variety of ways, for example skin picking and hair pulling.

    Sierra has been diagnosed with a specific disorder, called dermatillomania, which results in some of these behaviors. Even though I have known Sierra for many years and myself have a body focused repetitive behavior, I had no idea this was something she lives with too.

    We’ll explore Sierra’s personal experience with dermatillomania along with tips on how to cope with this type of behavior.
