Dr. Nduom is the Daniel Louis Barrow Endowed Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Emory University School of Medicine. He serves as Leader of the Brain Tumors Disease Group for Winship Cancer Institute. He has held numerous national and international roles in the neurosurgical and brain tumor community, including Founder and Diasporan Board Member for the Society for Neuro-Oncology Sub-Saharan Africa, Scientific Program Chair for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting and Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Brain Tumor Society. He is also accomplished in basic, translational, and clinical research, developing new immune therapy treatments for malignant brain tumors. Dr. Nduom's clinical specialty is the surgical management of brain and spinal cord tumors. Topics covered in today's episode: What are common types of brain tumors and their treatment options?
