  • While affluence and access to all forms of good and services has risen in the past decade: so have anxiety, self and prescribed medication for mental wellness, and feelings of hopelessness. In this episode I sit down with the senior staff counselor for the University of Central Arkansas and have a discussion about what the causes and contributing factors to this trend might be. We get into topics such as: hormone altering medications, environmental factors, and even how our perceptions of success are working against us. Please join me as I attempt in a small way to move the needle towards a future in which young people aren't flocking for a way to disconnect and avoid their realities.
