    As a 5th generation Colorado Native Jake started his business ventures by owning, operating and selling the Benihanas in Broomfield Colorado. Jake was named one of the 100 most influential people in the cannabis industry by High Times Magazine in 2018 and 2019 for his accomplishments over the past 12 years in the cannabis genetics and Hemp business. Jake was one of the original members of the marijuana Industry group and has been lobbying for cannabis legalization sense 2008. Jake has been invited to speak in front of US Senators, Attorneys General, State Senators, Congress, local governments and many more on behalf of the cannabis industry.

    Jake now leads the genetics R&D and business development for Solari Hemp and Solari Brands. During his tenure as a pioneer Marijuana entrepreneur he helped craft the original legislation to legalize marijuana in Colorado.

    Jake founded his first Cannabis business MMJ America when he was 27 in 2008 and sold it in 2017. He started it with one store and expanded into multiple markets as one of the first multinational cannabis brands in the United States. During that time his Company was awarded 20 cannabis cups for an array of different genetics and products.

    Jake proudly sits on the board of the Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Finance Chairman on the Executive committee.
