    Carlos Carrasco is a Panamanian-born actor, director, producer, with roles in Blood In Blood Out, Speed, Parker, The Fisher King, Turnover and HBO’s Looking and Insecure among others. His directorial and production work includes the award winning short film One, along with the shorts Lossed and Honesty, Pencil, Rose; and he directed the documentary short Art Galleries and Back Alleys, about the artist collective in Boyle Heights, Self Help Graphics. Carlos served as the executive director of HOLA, the New York Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors.

    Carlos was kind enough to swing by our studio during a visit to Miami, where we sat down to discuss his unique immigrant experience, a hilarious run-in with the law while at Stevens College and the challenges and blessings of his chosen career.
