    Hello and welcome to the "In The Moment" podcast with me, Alex Manzi. I'm a coach who has transformed his life from depression to fulfillment and today I explore a powerful framework to transform your intentions into reality using three simple steps.

    This approach has been a game-changer for me and many others I've coached, including the attendees to my recent retreat in the south of France.

    Through identifying your intentions, turning them into commitments, and picking systems to get the result desired, you can actually turn an intention you've had forever into an actual reality in your life.     The Self Improvement Paradox: When Growth Makes You Feel Worse. Hello and welcome to the "In The Moment" podcast with me, Alex Manzi. I'm a coach who has transformed his life from depression to fulfillment and today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite topics... the paradox of self-improvement.

    How can you feel worse if you started your growth journey, and if you're actually making the changes that you need in order to change your life?

    This is more common than it seems and... yes, it happened to myself as well. That's why we talked about this in depth at my recent retreat "Free Your Mind" in France, with my clients there. And from that discussion here's my reflection for the podcast and all of you here.

    I'm talking about the "when-then" mindset (e.g., "When I have more money, then I'll be happier"), and the frustration that goes along with it. I talk about settling into a phase where they you may feel complete. While this brings contentment, it can also lead to complacency and a lack of further progress.

In this episode I want to explore the difference between self-care and self-love. This is something that comes directly from my journey from depression to finding inner peace and fulfillment, working with athletes, artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs along the way.

    What i realized is... self-care is about doing things that make you feel good, like going to the gym, going to the Spa, or to the cinema. While self-love is a deeper mindset of accepting and loving yourself, even through challenging times. It's something I am, more than something I do.

Welcome back to "In The Moment"with Alex Manzi... and yes, as you've read in the title I have in fact spent about 50.000 pounds (about 60.000 in US dollars) in self development in the last 3 years, and in this episode I'm going to tell you all about it. There's a lot of wrong information and misconceptions out about coaches and self development... my experience has been truly life changing. I've started with one coach, the I aded others, and groups and mentors and retreats, to transform my financial situation, but then also my relationship goals, my mental wellbeing, my emotional status. 3 years later...     What I Learned From Interviewing 100+ Artists. Welcome to In The Moment with me, Alex Manzi, your friendly neighborhood mind sherpa. This is a special episode of the podcast for me. We're closing soon on 300 episode and I wanted to reflect an all the interviews that I made from 2017 until now. I've interviewed for this pod (that was initially called "The Dreamers' Disease") 100+ artists and creatives and I learned a lot from it. I've had known musicians like Wretch 32, Gabrielle Aplin, Sinead Harnett, Tom Grennan, Sam Tompkins. We've talked about depression, adhd, mindfulness routines, what we pass on to our sons. I've talked to the famous podcaster Dr. Rangan Chatterjee and he remembered the pain of losing his father and how that changed his life. I've even had the pleasure to speak even to Jerome Flynn, which famously portrayed Bronn in the TV show Game Of Thrones, and with him we had a deep chat about acting, art and the struggle of many people living in today's world.  I feel grateful to have had all these amazing interviews here. In this episode I try to recap everything I learned from it.
