Will the future league stars be focused since many of them will enter the league with a substantial amount of money? The crew also touches on the irony of the Celtics winning the title in the light of the deaths of Bill Walton and Jerry West. Ani and Chelsea give their first reaction NBA predictions for 2024-25. Why won't the Celtics repeat? Will Tatum ever win NBA MVP? Who are the best bets for MVP and rookie of the year? Ani and Chelsea break it down! Danny Hurley of two-time NCAA champ UConn turned down the L.A. Lakers job. It's been an embarrassing off season for the storied franchise. Should the Buss family sell the franchise? The NBA had a great season on the court, but the television coverage and media storylines were quite lackluster. What can the NBA do to change this? Are the media personalities dictating coverage? The WNBA had positive momentum with Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese entering the league, but the momentum has turned into a PR nightmare in the past few weeks of division by race, gender and affiliation. Mainstream media is being criticized for its lack of W knowledge and people trying to use the new eyeballs to push their own agendas. The fellas talk about each of the returning classes, who've they've seen in recent weeks and players they looking forward to evaluating the rest of the spring and summer. For the 2025 class, where does Cam Boozer go from here? Can names like Hudson Greer and Brayden Burries thrust themselves even higher into the national rankings? 2026 has the makings of a special class. Players such as Brandon McCoy Jr., Tyran Stokes, Caleb Holt and Jalen Montonati lead the way. Montonati and his coach at Owasso (Okla.), Brian Montonati, are special guests to this week's show, as they discuss winning the program's first Class 6A state title, expectations for next season, the approach Jalen takes towards improving his game and whom he emulates.
