It's my penultimate mid-year show, the calm before the sonic storm that descends 7 July.. To celebrate I have a selection of epic tunes from 2021-23 from the likes of Philippa Nihill, RINSE, Yumi Zouma, Ratboys, RVG, Charlotte Cornfield and Wednesday, plus the classic "Jubilee" album by Philadelphia shoegazer cum baroque indie pop outfit Japanese Breakfast as part of my Wax Lyrical segment. I also bring you pt 1 of my chat with Santa Cruz indie-folk artist Dead Nettle (aka Lindsey Wall). There's also new tunes from Sadie Mustoe, Peter Bibby, Snowy Band, JAZZPARTY and Gabi Lima & Tanya Donelly. It's also been 2 years since my late brother Tony departed this existence for his next soul journey. I dedicate tracks by Dead Can Dance, Throwing Muses and Pixies to his memory.
