  • Former senior intelligence official and special agent, Luis “Lue” Elizondo, was recruited into the US government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a $22 million program sponsored by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to study UFOs. Lue resigned in 2017 in protest of excessive government secrecy regarding UFOs. But it’s thanks to Lue that the government in recent years has declassified and made public a lot of information regarding UFO encounters and sightings.
