She is based in West Orange, NJ, but sees clients virtually from all around the world.

    Rhina is a leading figure in New York City’s entertainment industry. A Native New Yorker Afro Boricua. She is a mother, comedienne, producer, director, writer, and dancer. As a multiple award-winning artist and performer, Rhina has captured audiences with her humor while discussing adversity with honesty, representing the values of working-class women-of-color.


    Rhina has been featured on HBO’s Betty la Flaca and has appeared in nationally syndicated television commercials for Bally’s & 1-800-Flowers. Since 2006, Rhina has been the Host and Creative producer of the popular OPEN Friday talk show on BronxNet TV advocating arts, culture, entertainment, women empowerment and mental health awareness. She is the founder and CEO of La Reina Del Barrio Inc. Most recently, as of Feb 2022, Ms. Valentin has been appointed to a seat as a Board of Director for the Bronx Council on The Arts. As an activist and motivational speaker, Rhina focuses on diversity and inclusion.


    Most recently has been recognized in 2022 with a Latin Impact Award presented by Schnepps Media, and in 2021 she was acknowledged as ‘The First Latina to be honored as the ‘Creative New Yorker for New York’ by Citizens Committee for NYC. While ending 2020 with A Change Agent Award by Color Magazine and A Woman of Today 2015 Award at The Women of Tomorrow Conference at Microsoft offices. She was also a distinguished recipient of the 25 Bronx Influential Women of 2015 Award, presented by the Bronx Times Reporter. As a health and wellness advocate, she produced a reality TV web-series, Rhina Gets Lean, which followed her journey of healthy eating and fitness to promote better living for the urban community.


    She also trained for the New York City Marathon, which she completed in 2014. Rhina Valentin is a production consultant with years of experience in strategic planning, stakeholder reporting, executive production, and general assets acquisitions. She’s a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation and believes in its potential for individual healing and societal transformation. She is working towards a certification as a Primordial Sound Meditation instructor through the Chopra Center.
