I live many different lives it seems. I began my life as a teacher and I love doing it. I became an international broadcaster doing radio around the world and teaching others how to do that.

Then I became a business performance coach and I love that work, believe that I did it well and still do it from time to time.

Many years ago I put those two together and did what might have been one of the worlds first real podcasts.

So give me 15 minutes to tell you the story but in doing so I think I can be very helpful to you and how you might be able to use the story to come up with ideas and how you might build your own life and business and better and more innovative and perhaps more pleasing ways.

Yes that's the title. Has that ever happened to you? It has to be an incredible may be a life-changing experience. I've never had that happen, though I have been aimed at.

Well of course everybody knows now that about 72 hours ago Donald Trump just barely escaped a fatal bullet to the head. He survived the ordeal and seems to be in good shape.

Do you think that may have changed him in anyway? Well I have a few thoughts and interesting ideas on that and about the dilemma of getting old... And then since I am a bit of a strategic thinker and anticipator I think I know that in the end Donald Trump will be a winner.

Even if he doesn't! You need to hear this 20 minutes and think about because I promise you it will be good for you!

Today I have a number of points of the moment thoughts that have come to me. First of all do you know what often happens to men in their 80s. And what will happen to The Bidens ... T9 = tell the truth tell the truth tell the truth!

Fear and lying kills everything. It's nothing terribly original but right now it's original with me. And yes let's give some new meaning and direction to the SOS code which unfortunately most of us are going through in some way if we're not careful and brave and bold.

We continue with our story of 100 years ago right now. July 1924 in Paris France the Olympic Games were held. Europe was still deeply recovering from the pain of World War I.

A young Scotch athlete named Eric Liddel born in China from missionary parents was now in England doing his studies and becoming a fine athlete. He was so good that it was obvious that he was world-class and certainly one who might even win the Gold Medal at the Olympics.

And it is from that story that we share some wisdom insight and truth that could be perhaps life-changing for you. The story became a classic film entitled Chariots of Fire and from that story we will get our lesson for today.

Well it wasn't really a non-event it's just that it was that the star player in the event didn't participate. Eric Liddell, often known as the Flying Scotsman was scheduled to participate in the 100 meter dash in the 1924 Olympics being held in Paris France.

However he refused to participate in the qualifying heat and forfeited his chance to be the gold medal winner. His stories are told in the award winning film Chariots of Fire. Today, July 6 marks 100 years to the day when that non-event happened but led to many other glorious and gracious and wonderful, and tragic events.

It was truly world changing in many respects and today I want to take seven minutes to tell you the story.

By that I mean the beginning of the story,

He was on his way after working so very hard to be a world-class champion basketball player. And then something happened. So let me introduce you to my friend Sande and his story that is inspiring instructing helpful and useful.

Well the old Bugs Bunny question, "What's up Doc?" is certainly appropriate today. Ever since the President Joe Biden's performance at the presidential debate last week, the political situation in the United States is in the state of chaos and uncertainty.

However my prediction of sometime ago is coming true... Donald Trump is not going to jail. In fact, instead of going to the big house he might be going to the White House.

So indeed we are in for interesting times. Let's wait and see what happens and perhaps then we will know with greater clarity and conviction what to do.

Let me tell you the story!

This is interesting ideas for a Friday and this is the day when we talk about Transformation. This is not just about changes or adjustments or perhaps some renewals, this is where we seek to become people who are very different and because of that we can do some very different and powerful things.

We want to be people who have been transformed and because of that we can create, guide, perhaps direct, and even create an environment where transformation can take place for our lives, the people we love, the organizations we serve, and the good causes that we have been led to support.

And then we want to share with you the five words that will help you begin to put into place your transformational plan. It's just an introduction to the words but with your own creativity and some further coaching you can figure out how it might be helpful and useful to you.

And unfortunately for President Joe Biden the transformation that he was hoping for did not take place. And I will not dwell or even talk about that, but just to remind you that when it comes to presidential debates that we can learn a very significant lesson about how to use the mass marketing media today. I have a story from my childhood that may illustrate a significant media lesson.
