  • On this episode Kitty talks with Sarahana Shrestha, a justice and climate activist originally from Nepal, who is running for the 103rd Assembly District in New York's Hudson Valley. District 103 includes parts of Dutchess and Ulster counties, Sarahana Shrestha, a climate organizer and Ulster County co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, defeated 13 term incumbent Democrat Kevin Cahill in the June primary. Shrestha now faces Republican Patrick Sheehan in the general election. Kitty talks with Sarahana about her key issues and what inspired her to enter politics for the first time in her life.
