The collaboration aims to advance sustainable battery recycling technologies by integrating PEM's expertise with Iondrive's Deep Eutectic Solvents Sustainable Battery Recycling process. A consortium, expected to include strategic partners from the entire battery recycling value chain, will validate the performance of battery cells made from recycled materials at scale. The initial focus will be on establishing a pilot plant in Germany, with detailed project planning and investment cases to be completed within three months.
