  • Originally released August of 2022. On the isolated island community of Tangier, Virginia, the residents speak with a dialect that is entirely unique. It's part southern drawl, part "brogue," and some have claimed it's a relic dialect left over from the first English settlers to the area in the 1600s. But is that true?
