    Josie started out in Chicago, went to Maine and ultimately attended Emerson College where she got a BFA, a Masters in Theater Education, and was even an adjunct faculty member. She's worked in many capacities in many theaters, in Boston and New York City. I've had the pleasure of working with her in two wonderful productions.

    Her latest project involves creating a play using music, poetry, spoken word, and dance to shed light on the historical role of 19th century black female resisters like Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman through the use of biofictional storytelling. Find out more at www.truthplay.org.

  • Episode 119: Attorney Chavala Kobluk

    Chavala started her career as a dancer/musician/actress, attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She travelled to over 30 countries working in Fashion, Marketing, and worked in the non-profit sector related to cancer, diabetes, food and community sustainability and Aboriginal affairs.

    In 2017 she moved to Australia and attended law school. She was one of four students selected for the ICC Moot Team Competition in the Hague.  Most recently she has been admitted as a New York Attorney.

    Tammy Dahlstrom currently stars as the as the take-no-b.s. undercover U.S. Marshall ‘Diane’ in the new Dekkoo original comedy series, MARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE.

    Previously, she gained tons of fans recurring as the farmer-turned-frontier woman ‘Martha’ alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi in Season 3 of the TBS comedy series, MIRACLE WORKERS: OREGON TRAIL.

    She also recurred as the uber-assistant ‘Gloria’ in Season Three of Mike Judge’s critically acclaimed HBO series, SILICON VALLEY. Her previous television credits also include: LIFE IN PIECES, LUCIFER, JUST ADD MAGIC, TOGETHERNESS, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE MIDDLE, HOUSE OF LIES, GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR, HOUSE M.D., MONK, AWAKE and many others.

    On the big screen she’s appeared in numerous indie films, including John Asher’s PO, Dave Barry’s COMPLETE GUIDE TO GUYS, EM and STRAIGHT-JACKET. 

    This California native got her start as a commercial kid at the age of three when she was on the box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and starred in the commercial. The strawberry-blonde found continued success in commercials and has appeared in over 100 national and regional spots to date. Tammy has studied with some of the most respected acting coaches in the business, including Lesly Kahn, Margie Haber and Tom Todoroff. She is a proud USC Trojan, a self-confessed ‘foodie’ and dedicated dog lover.

    Since 1998, Terri’s more than 50 historical and paranormal romance novels, novellas and short stories have been published by Berkley, Harlequin, Kensington, NAL and SMP Swerve and released in 20 languages in 25 countries! While also self-publishing a few works, Terri is working on more stories that will be released through 2024 with Harlequin, Dragonblade Publishing and Oliver Heber Books.

    Professor Ruben teaches criminal law, professional responsibility, and a seminar on the Second Amendment. His scholarly work has been published in the California Law Review, Duke Law Journal, Georgetown Law Journal, Iowa Law Review, and Yale Law Journal Forum. He's provided legal commentary for ABC News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNN, The Atlantic, NPR, and CBS Radio.

    Prof. Ruben was a fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice and an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law, worked as a criminal defense attorney, and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

    He received his J.D. from NYU School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor for the NYU Law Review, and his B.A. from Dartmouth College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
