    Ivan Alofa is a family guy who is known for his unwavering dedication to his community and hard work. In the beginning of his career, he worked as a teacher and a police officer in Samoa, making important contributions to both education and public safety. Having been given high chief titles, Ivan has taken joy in his duties and is now leading and guiding the Samoan community. His desire to help people goes beyond Samoa. As a newspaper publisher and involved member of many Samoan groups, he has helped the Samoan communities in New Zealand and Australia. Ivan's commitment is also clear in the way he works hard as an associate preacher and a member of the Samoan Christian Church. He is also a pioneering speaker who runs the only radio station in Australia that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the Samoan community. This gives Samoans living abroad a constant way to connect with and support each other.
