  • JJ Duncan is a storyteller, a lost craft in this fast paced world. As an executive producer & showrunner, JJ has been telling stories for years in the tv & film industry, but these days, the story she shares is the one of her son, Mason, who died of Leukemia in 2020. JJ recently attended our Soul Mamas' event at Big Heart Ranch in Malibu, and shared Mason's journey through cancer with 45 grieving souls. With nurturing guidance she encouraged and emphacized the importance of continuing to tell our loved ones stories.

    Mason's story continues to change lives through JJ's advocy through Not Today Cancer, a non-profit formed by her and wife, Stacy Book. NTC sponsors an annual 5k Run in Los Angeles to stop cancer in it's tracks and has partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help cancer patients with medical debt. JJ recently traveled to DC, representing NTC,to discuss the Lower Cost Medical Transparency Act (LCMT) with Congress and the Senate...we need more JJs in the world!
