The bill, as highlighted by Matt Reynolds in "Senate passes bill aimed to boost protections for Georgia tenants" from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, mandates essential standards for rental homes. It provides a three day grace period for rent payments before evictions and caps security deposits. Now returning to the House for final agreement, HB 404 promises to make Georgia's housing market fairer and safer.
