Alicia Maynard graduated from assistant on the tools in her father’s shed in country NSW to an engineer at high-profile organisations in the big smoke. In doing so, she was constantly challenging assumptions about what women could bring to a male-dominated workforce.

Now the general manager of sustainability and technical services at ISPT, Alicia chats to Lee McLaughlin, JLL's national account director for ISPT, about why diverse teams and companies perform better, how leaders can affect change on gender equality, and knowing your worth.

Vanessa Fowler’s sister Allison Baden-Clay was murdered by her husband, shattering her family and community.
