A federal judge has ruled that the Department of Veterans Affairs must build additional housing units for veterans on its West L.A. campus, KNX News' Pete Demetriou reports.

Governor Gavin Newsom has issued a proposal for an emergency regulation on THC-containing hemp products. As Nataly Tavidian reports, the ban is said to focus on protecting children from easy access to the intoxicating weed-infused drinks and gummies that are on grocery store shelves.

The South Bay’s BeachLife festival was canceled this year due to construction at the venue, but organizers are bringing a smaller concert to Redondo Beach this fall.
