The planting season is coming to an end, but Killer Food Plots Nick Percy says it's not too late to get seeds in the ground.

Nick says you're at the mercy of Mother Nature at this point, but if she cooperates, you can still get that last minute plot in.

Percy also talks about the advantages of food plots over baiting, plot maintenance and why "more" is not always "better" in the food plot world.

He also describes the benefits of KFP's Retain, Core InFuzion and Aqua Shield products.

We're wrapping up the food plot season in the north country, but Mother Nature is cooperating for once.

That's the word from Killer Food Plots Nick Percy this month on the podcast.

Nick says the heat and humidity make it tough to work, but those same conditions are helping plots get off to a good start.  Combine that with some rain...and you've got an excellent start to the growing season.

Even so, Percy says time is rapidly running out to get those plots in and he'll soon be heading south to work on some habitat improvement projects.

Tremendous highs and heartbreaking lows this month on the Killer Food Plots Podcast.

First, Adam Bahr of Maximum Outdoors TV tells the story of his three year pursuit of a monster Iowa whitetail.  Adam passed on that animal in 2018.   He made a bad shot and forced the buck nocturnal in 2019.  Perseverance paid off for Adam though, and in the late season of 2020, he dropped the 200 inch monster in a KFP food plot.

Then Scott Buckley describes how EHD devastated the whitetail herd on his farm two years ago, including the loss of several mature bucks.

Scott turned to KFP's Aqua Shield to treat the ponds on his property, improve the water quality and eliminate EHD on his farm.
