Jack Raymond has one of those voices. It's like the crackling of a campfire, the sound of boots on a gravel road, the meeting of whisky and ice. It's a voice you've never heard, but it feels like you've known it your whole life.

    Originally from Harrietville, Victoria, this man of the mountains has travelled to the coast and settled in Noosa, Queensland. His style is "mountain roots" – rugged, raw, and grounded in blues with an easy folk undertone. Raymond is a storyteller, drawing inspiration from his travels and the characters he's met.

    After a successful tour across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, Raymond has released his debut album, "The Long Story Short" a collection of musical tales that are catchy and upbeat, yet also deeply honest and raw.
