  • Let the Dead Rest is a novel by suspense author, J.P. Choquette. Set in Vermont, the creepy story follows Isabel Joven, a reclusive artist living in a remote farmhouse. Isabel is recovering from loss and is emotionally raw. Then a mysterious gift—a vintage doll—arrives on her doorstep. But Isabel can’t imagine the dark shadow this doll will cast on her life.

    In 1944, Etta Hayes welcomes home her soldier fiancé. But the doll he brings home leaves Etta feeling edgy and frightened. Sinister things happen when Etta questions the doll's history.
