  • Paris WR Bonanza! Faith Kipyegon 3:49.04 WR, Hull 3:50.8, Muir 3:53.7, Deepest 800 Ever, Yaroslava Mahuchikh World Record High Jump

    The Paris Diamond League is the home of the world record as Yaroslava Mahuchikh broke the women's high jump world record from 1987 with a leap of 2.10 meters, Faith Kipyegon lowered her women's 1500 meters world record to 3:49.04, as Jess Hull ran an Aussie record of 3:50.83 and Laura Muir a British record of 3:53.79 NR.

    The men's 800 was the deepest ever as Djamel Sedjati emerged victorious in a historic race, clocking 1:41.56, followed closely by Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Gabriel Tual, both achieving sub-1:42 times.
