  • Welcome to the Life on a Stick podcast with Malin & Tom!



    We are the grown-up department of a half-English, half-Swedish adventure family living in our Campervan called Sunny. We're based on the East coast of Sweden, but we embrace the nomadic lifestyle by travelling around Europe, spending our winters in Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. We've lived this adventurous, free-spirited lifestyle ever since we survived a rough battle with cancer, after Malin was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at just 29 years old.



    We've really enjoyed documenting our uncommon lives (including vanlife with 2 young kids, and our journey to beating cancer) on our Youtube channel over the years, and we've now decided to extend our stories into the podcasting world! Welcome to Life on a Stick!

    Last year we sold our house and moved in to our van full time. Living and travelling in a van with two young kids is not without it's challenges, and this week we're chatting about the ups and the downs of how it feels to travel across Europe while trying to raise two small humans.


    This episode was recorded in our campervan in a cold and rainy France, on our way up to Sweden.

    We recount our experience of when we set off on our travels; moving in to our DIY campervan with our two small kids, racing an arctic snowstorm south in Sweden, a HUGE water leak in our van before we'd even started, and we also chat about one of the biggest hospital mix-ups we've ever seen - where Malin was accidentally given something that she's EXTREMELY allergic to. Fun times!


    We're still travelling through Europe in our awesome campervan called Sunny. We recorded this episode sat in the south of Spain, on the border of Gibraltar.

    The podcast is here! Finally, episode one of Malin & Tom's podcast has arrived, and in the first episode we try to introduce ourselves a bit, briefly share a bit about our battle with colon cancer at just 29 years old, and living in a van with two little kids.


    We're currently travelling around Europe in our campervan called Sunny, and in this episode we're sat under some lovely palm trees, enjoying the evening sun in Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife.
