    Mc CONRAD TRIBUTE -

    Mc Conrad AKA Conrad Thompson sadly departed the Motherland on the 29th April.

    My tribute is very personal as I met Conrad on many occasions and what a lovely soul he was!

    I have many memories I will cherish but My most fond memory was when I was at one of his gigs (progression sessions) and I was Mc-ing along with him at the front of the stage, he noticed and put the mic to my mouth… the other one was when I personally booked him For an Odyssey event! Mc Conrad was second to none. A lyrical genius, The drum and bass community will miss him dearly! RIP Conrad Thompson.

    This mix is dedicated to all his family/friends/fans.

There were many more releases by reputable artists over the years which followed.

    Our team promoted live events & became one of the 1st record label to showcase a Live video Stream, aided by Professional broadcasting Camera’s filmed professionally on the livestream channel.

    Mc Conrad hosted our first event, bringing together the first sound-clash Ft: Mc Conrad/Big Bud which came to the Midlands @Slade-Rooms & Debuting Alibi (V Recordings) to the UK, the Atmospheric drum & Bass legend PFM plus many more events.

    We currently host the No.1 iTunes Drum & Bass podcast with our partners Liquidsoundzuk(Rhythm Tek) All of this would have not have been possible without the support of the Odyssey Team - Mr Moon, Slamdunk, Tidal, Pariah, Artists, Supporters & Fans.

    A Decade of Odyssey Recordings will feature a number of releases under the project name 'THE CYCLE' all available exclusively to purchase from our Bandcamp site plus exclusive merchandise and a limited edition release on Vinyl later in the year - All in celebration of Odyssey Recordings. More to come on our Live Youtube Shows(Odyssey Music Box) along with competitions and giveaways.
