  • After a brief diversion back to 1981 (or particular interest to tennis fans or those who had dental problems in the Llanelli area) Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears turn their attention to August 1997. It's probably the month we've mentioned the most on this podcast, given its rather grim association with Diana, Princess of Wales - but what else happened that summer? It turns out Britpop was rapidly running out of steam with the release of the long-awaited but much charity-shopped Be Here Now. And, talking of disasters, Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie was released, with one of the all-time great tie-in singles, courtesy of Boyzone - Video Here.
