    As believers in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, embracing all His gifts, sometimes we risk forgetting that the very grounds of our belief, our faith, and our worship is the written word of God. If we are not grounded in the Word, if His Word is not settled in our hearts, we cannot effectively minister to one another or fulfill the great commission. To be grounded in the Word is liberating, empowering, and even exciting!

When we talk about the supreme power of the Word of God, we are certainly not talking about merely it's superiority as a work of literature! God's Word is the force by which all things came into existence, by which all things are sustained; and God's word in our mouth still has power to change us and change our lives!
