On his way across the wild, The Morrigan comes looking for Bren. Tensions are high in this second meeting, as she is coming fresh from the fight with Cai and Tethra. When she realizes that Bren is not her enemy, they make their way to Findrias and begin an excellent training montage.

In these two chapters Bren tries to outrun the Grey Man, encounters some difficulties traversing the terrain of Annwn, and gets a little help from a surprise companion. Here we meet Bren's new minion, a baby oilliphéist that Bren gets to name. Bren tries to lay down some ground rules, while not getting his face bit off.
