The way you approach your self-reflection and energy/mindset/strategy work matters. If you're being critical of yourself, or shaming yourself, self-reflection or looking deeply into your beliefs and biz is hard, because it often leads to uncomfortable feelings, which, when suppressed or judged, just feel more uncomfortable.
