After almost four years of MBA: Mature By Accident, Gina and Shashwat are putting a pin in the podcast. With all of the other priorities in their lives right now, they have made the decision to step away from recording. It is unclear if they will pick this back up again in the future, but never say never.

Gina and Shashwat are joined by Philip Maddalena who shares his story on becoming an attorney and what his career has been like. He talks about law school, getting into criminal defense, making way less money than he had initially expected, and ending up in personal injury law. Phil dispels some myths on attorneys and gives some very good advice for anyone who may be considering a career in law! 

Gina and Shashwat talk about some of the most challenging aspects of adulthood, especially now in their mid-30's. They discuss prioritizing numerous schedules, financial responsibilities, managing their parents, being educated about an array of necessary topics, and being tied to their jobs. Anyone who couldn't wait to grow up and become an adult may have gotten way more than they bargained for... 

Gina and Shashwat are joined by Matthew Markie, who recounts how he got addicted to drugs and what the journey has been fighting off that addiction. He recounts what drove him to pills, how he transitioned to hard drugs, and what the rehab process was like for him after many years of using. While Matt's success story may be uncommon and unfinished, he's a shining example how how someone put their mind to changing their lifestyle and did just that.

Gina and Shashwat talk about how social media has changed since it began and focus on some of the notable negative impacts that it has had on them, their children, and other people around them. They talk about cyberbullying, depression, anxiety, and other such adverse effects of the rise of social media. 

Gina and Shashwat talk to former Jefferson County DA and now Advocate for Children in New York, Christina Curri, about her career tackling crimes against children. Christina has been focusing on prosecuting offenders in child sex crime cases for most of her career before now representing children in their own well-being cases. Listen in as Christina talks about some of her most memorable cases and also gives tips to parents when protecting their own children against online and local predators.

Gina and Shashwat talk about what it's like dealing with "mom guilt" and how that concept also plays out for fathers or other parents. They talk about when it begins, how it's been fueled by social media, and what can potentially be done when finding yourself dealing with it. 

Gina and Shashwat are joined by Korey Gonzalez to talk about what it's like being in a polyamorous relationship with her boyfriend and her boyfriend's wife. She talks about how they juggle living together, co-parenting, tackle jealousy, and have made a life for themselves as the 3 adults in a new age relationship and living situation. As you'd imagine, like any relationship, communication turns out to be a key factor for them!
