The Lunar Nodes have great significance in both ancient and modern astrology, where they are often associated with destined trajectories and life lessons that must be learned. As each node is connected to the other through an exact opposition, together they form what’s called the Nodal Axis. On July 13th, 2023, the Nodal Axis shifted from Taurus (North Node) - Scorpio (South Node) to Aries (North Node) - Libra (South Node); the axis will remain in Aries - Libra until Jan. 29th, 2025. While this theory originated in a medical context in the work of the Greek physician Hippocrates (5th–4th centuries BCE), and was put to practice in astrological medicine as well, for centuries astrologers used it to categorize and distinguish people psychologically. What’s the (pseudo-)scientific basis of this theory?
